The fybush article implied that other than morning drive, the anchors have been rotating every 30 minutes and this was bringing that to the morning as well. That doesn’t seem accurate - they have always done the 15 minute rotation all day until now. On the weekends too but they seem to rotate 3 anchors a lot instead of two.
The other thing mentioned is each news block will have a core team of an editor, a writer and two anchors. I’m wondering if they have reduced the number of writers or if that is the same. Possibly the 30 minute rotation gives the anchor who is off air more time to do some writing or other things that would be hard to done in a 15 minute window.
Scott Fybush mentions in this week's headlines, that there are changes in 3 news talk stations coming. KDKA, WBZ and WNYC.
I have trouble navigating fybush.com buy by the week , so I'm curious as to what those changes are
Well they must still be in transition, because I heard Josh Binswanger in (I think) the noon hour yesterday (with Jeff Brown, IIRC), and he was on this morning at 9:30.For WBZ: Jeff Brown & Deb Lawler are morning drive. Ben Parker & Nichole Davis mid-days. Josh Binswanger is afternoons with Laurie Kirby.
Whatever the published line up is (and it is not on their web site) - the anchors are not what was published by Fybush. Josh Binswanger this morning with Art Cohen. Deb Lawler has been MIA for a while. Maybe she had a lot of vacation time to use - hopefully she is well. This morning I think they were doing 15 minute rotations as well (I was sleepy though when listening so could be wrong).
