Changes In Wheeling

Bumpers running on Biggie 96.5 saying format is moving to 100.5. Bumpers running on Jack saying format is moving to 96.5 . This all comes down on September 10th. Looks like Key market is going after WOVK's huge share.

That will really make Wheeling radio suck considering they gave up on Womp FM over a competing class A station. Now they go Switch Biggie over To 100.5 to go up against an established country station. Should be interesting to see how this does.

I agree with Marv,

I like Biggie Country, it will be interesting to see what the added 45,500 watts of ERP on 100.5 will do compaired to the 2.5kw total ERP of 96.5... I'm sure the call letters will be swapped as well?

It's sat. fed. But has a different twist. Two or three times an hour the jock does a local talk out of songs ,talking about local stuff and mentions the calls. Audience is fooled but not us media guys...we get it

It's Dial Global, I'm listening to a classic country format they do, with the local drops, it really doesn't sound bad. They have their proprietary digital delivery computer which they control from from there main studios.
