CHANGES SOON ON KAMA

I keep hearing about a change on monday on kama 104.9 the afternoon guy said something would be very different as of monday and it seems they are stepping up there game. i hear more english music and they seem to have better on air talent then mega if only they could be on a bigger stick.

Wouldn't that be changes at both KAMA and KPTY? They are, afterall, in simulcast. Other than that, remember this: it's not the size of the stick that counts, it's the motion of the airwaves.

I suspect they will be tweaking KAMA/KPTY even further, the closer Univision gets to firing up the 50kW rig at 105.3. That is, if the simulcast is to remain.

Don't expect anything major to happen. Maybe they might flip to La Kalle, they might extend their Radio Activo a little longer. Or they might have a guest interview. Or something related to a concert.

Just like Vidal Luna said he was bringing Tejano on Thursdays on 102.9 saying TEJANO IS BACK. But don't expect nothing major either.

104.9 Morning show is now heard on La Kalle 95.1-SA. So you might be right with the change to La Kalle.

By the way, La Kalle sounds the best during the weekends with mixes all weekend long. It begins at 5pm on Friday and continues until Monday 12am.
