I'm glad B98.5 is... well, doing some tweakage. Yay!!! NOW, all we need to work on is a rhythmic top 40, where people can discover "shut it down" by Pitbull. I'm disappointed that KAMP in L.A. also isn't playing it because they should know better, especially when everyone else around them IS! (But.... then again, maybe they already played it and got over it because I see they already have "pearly gates" in rotation, which makes me wonder then why are they just now using Kelly Rowland's "when love takes over as if it just came out? I know David Guetta has released other things since then...) but all this is besides the point here! I just throw in the extra stuff every now and then just to show an idea of what's going on elsewhere so no one thinks I'm "too outrageous" with my ideas.
L.A. can "afford" have one station "slacking" a bit. Atlanta on the other hand, they first need to get to a point where if one was "slacking", there'd be another avenue - and I say this strictly in regards to the rhythmic and top 40 category. Yes, I also agree that a traditional soft rock like KESZ should exist in Atlanta as well. The urbans all seem to have gotten it right. Not sure what The Groove has been up to.
