CHANGES TO OLDIES MORNING SHOW

I was listening to Oldies 95/106 this afternoon and heard Ashley Adams saying that a new and improved morning show was coming August 1st. Does anyone know what the changes might be - a new co-host, new format, new something??????? I think Ashley does a great job flying solo in the mornings - probably one of the very few in the Knoxville market that is good enough to actually hold down a morning show by themselves. I've noticed that South Central has added a new weekend dj plus an overnight dj. I don't know if they're voice tracked or not but they sound live. If South Central is working with the Oldies morning show and adding new dj's - is this a sign that they plan on keeping the Oldies format around here in Knoxville for a while?

Absolutely nothing! Ashley was on vacation last week but they played an advertisement for the morning show in which she said she was on vacation but to stay tuned for a brand new improved morning show August 1st. Well, yesterday morning I turned it on thinking she might have a new co-host, different format, SOMETHING new and, well, I wasn't impressed. I didn't notice any changes either - NOTHING AT ALL! Ha ha ha, well, I did notice them playing The BeeGee's "More Than A Woman" from Saturday Night Fever soundtrack - at that moment, I turned the radio to something else. If they're serious about saving that station and maybe bringing the ratings up, my advise would be to stay away from ANYTHING from the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. My moment of excitement was then over.
