Changes To Website

I tested that theory and found that the Happy New Year message was missing an end code.
That is what was causing the increased test size. I have corrected the issue. Thanks to everyone who reported it.

So, it's actually a Y2K problem 21 years late! At least it didn't go to 1901. :rolleyes:

It did. I needed to restore the typography to the default sizes as I investigated the reason for the font issues this morning. I have since increased the font sizes slightly.
 
Really getting sick of Facebook ads across the top of the screen. Nuke one, another takes it's place. Report it to Google, they apologize and put it back up.
Are there lots more ads now?

You should actually be seeing fewer ads when you log in.
 
I think I've stayed logged in since around the time of the changeover.

I am seeing the favicon on my computers but I want to change it to a monochrome version of the logo. I have turned the matter over to the IT guys.
 
You will be interested to know that I am again getting an icon in the bookmarks bar. It's been gone since the reboot.

The only sites without an icon are now fccdata.org and americanradiohistory.com (hint, hint)

The new software is excellent!

On the old platform, regardless of whether I was using my windows PC or my Android phone, the board software would randomly change between the desktop version and the mobile friendly version. Often times, the change would occur when I clicked on a thread title to read the posts. Other times, it would occur upon clicking the "reply" button, which made posting very difficult.

With the new software, those previous issues have disappeared. Overall usability has much better than before!

I'm seeing fewer ads on my laptop, but a lot of them are still for the cheap Chinese clothing that I can't seem to get rid of even when I request for Google ads to block them. I guess is it possible that things my wile or daughter look at on their laptops could show up on mine as well? On the other hand on my phone there are more ads but they're usually ones I'm more interested in like Ebay, Office Max, etc.
