That is not a problem with our software. I have never seen it on my computers, phone or tablet.

Other forums running the same software have no issues with it.
We are not running anything special within the software package. My avatar photo is a .jpg as is David's. Both have the same attributes. I can't imagine why you can see one but not the other.

It was painless. I didn't feel a thing.
Wish I could say that about the COVID vaccine I got yesterday... my arm has not hurt so much since I was a soccer goalie in the 60's!

I was talking to my nephew-in-law, who's a physical therapist at a convalescent center, and he said when I get it to massage my arm all day as often as I can when I get it, that'll help a lot in lessening the soreness. I'm too young to get it right now though.

Best advice we're getting in the newsroom is that you can take all the painkillers you want after the jab - but not before, because they can interfere with the effect of the vaccine. And that if you feel soreness or fatigue, it means your body is building its immune defenses and the vaccine is working. (But also that if you don't feel anything, it doesn't mean the vaccine isn't working.)

I had read that as well, and refrained from taking any pain suppressant, legal or otherwise, ahead of the shot.

I'm surprised that there is no guidance I could find about using either marijuana or CBD in advance of the shot. While not a "partaker" of those substances, it would seem to be important to let people know if there is a cautionary note about them.

It is surprisingly hard for a full range of questions and answers to be found. I was able to prep for the shot by doing considerable browsing. But when I went, nearly everyone was older than me and many were questioning or complaining about a lack of information and many were saying (per my chat with the person at the door) that they had friends who did not use the Internet and who did not know how to get an appointment.

I'm a little angry ... No, I'm pissed. My area, Midland County, Michigan has only received a TOTAL of 2235 doses of the vaccine thus far. I'm in multiple high-risk groups and would sure like to get vaccinated. I'll gladly accept the pain. It can't be any worse than the Shingles (which I went through a few months ago).
