I'm a little angry ... No, I'm pissed. My area, Midland County, Michigan has only received a TOTAL of 2235 doses of the vaccine thus far. I'm in multiple high-risk groups and would sure like to get vaccinated. I'll gladly accept the pain. It can't be any worse than the Shingles (which I went through a few months ago).
My grandmother suffered with shingles for 20 years. The pain never went away. It attacks the nerves.

Have you received any correspondence from your health care provider?

It's amazing to look around California. I am with our metro area´s only non-profit community supported hospital system, and they amazed me with how they are giving the shots as fast as they get the medications.

A relative in LA County is a bit older than me, and has some dangerous conditions. They are scheduling her for late March or early April. The difference is in the way LA county is organized and the way my county is handling it... both in one state. And, overall, the state has done a miserable job... they are in their second redesign of the computer system as the first two did not work and crased constantly.

Everything I hear online is politicized. Nobody is to blame, or a specific party is at fault. The disease is neither Red nor Blue; it is Black, the color of death.

Yes, there are some who never get over it, and others who get it time after time. I am in the latter group.

My wife was able to get her first shot of the vaccine because of working in the local school system even though she would be too young in most other cases, and has had no problem. I'm still having to wait though.
