Changing my presets

hey Drakbar:

Have they introduced sigalerts (one word, by the way) in Dallas? Is KRLD simulcasting KNX?

What in the wide world of sports is going on there?

..then how about Nurse Jeff? WHOA...that qualifies for a Sig Alert ;D

No, you can keep your little imaginary playland to yourself. It would be cute if it were a 6-year-old, from an adult, it's a little creepy.

As a stalkee, I know it when I see it.

Tell you what, when I even approach 50 percent of your little friend's number of "1260" posts, I'll stop.

But my, my, my, the "KFYI Marching Band and Chowder Society" has had its cozy little "KT'R-joke-fest" crashed, and it apparently doesn't like it.

We know Legend City...and he's no ZumaHands!

Back to topic: Sunday's Cards game was a waste of TMISU's FM/AM simulcast. The game should have been tape delayed and rebroadcast on the Voice of The Lumberyard, 14~Forty, after sunset. :D

Cards game was on 3 stations! Waste

On Saturday I left the ASU game early as it was blistering hot, and ended up in a Tempe sports bar. We asked why the game wasn't on the radio there, they said it was only on AM, and they had bad reception.

They knew nothing of 92.3 carrying the game, and I got them to change. This is the biggest sports bar in Tempe, and they didn't know about TAR FM?

Oh the humanity!

I saw the mention of Radio Free Phoenix, they do have a great line up of music and local events, but no one has mentioned Scottsdale has its own LPFM on 106.7 called kWSS. It’s only listenable on the air in the east valley but they stream as well. I listened on a Thursday evening, they have some local shows, local music all that good stuff. I put it in my top 6 presets.

Yes, I was pleasantly surprised to find 106.7 during a drive up to Fountain Hills a few weeks ago. They play some pretty good alternative stuff. I could swear I heard Andy Olson on some kind of specialty show, or someone who sounded exactly like him.

That was Andy, he does a 2 hour show with stuff compiled from the mighty Radio Free Phoenix.

there is more to talk about a talk station than a music station...because there are on the air people with opinions vs. someone telling who what song you just heard and a bunch of small talk...that's why people on this board talk about the talk stations more....
