Channel 12 Traffic

I notice Jon Phillips is not doing traffic on Channel 12 any longer. Could it be that he wasn't playing nice or maybe he was too inflexible? Does anyone have a clue on this besides Arbitorn?

Who from CC is doing traffic on Channel 12 Dave Armbruister, Chuck Ingram or Bobby Leach

It sounds like 12 wants to have its own "image" face on the screen for traffic. Plus, sometimes they'll go to traffic from the Kenwood studios and Phillips, or whomever, isn't there. Which is probably another factor. Everyday there's a different person at the mic.

I just hope 12 doesn't go the same route as channel #5 and buy into some cartoon-like graphics of the city with flashing little cars to indicate accidents. Just show us the real pictures from Artimis. Their cameras can point to just about any traffic jam that matters.

Artimis? Matters? Traffic? You should be doing slapstick!

The whole zoom in, zoom out, move the map, zoom in, zoom out, move the map again thing makes me feel like I've already dealt with morning drive traffic jams before leaving the house. There's gotta be a better mousetrap.

I agree with you, I keep expecting to see Pac-Man come out and start eating the cars!

As soon as someone in the sales department figures out that they can sell advertising wraps on those little cartoon-mobiles, every station will start using them!

You mean someone is actually watching Channel 12 news? Thats shocking!

I'd wish they quit calling themselves Local 12 every 5 minutes.
