Channel 28 Hartford

It's not in Hartford, it is in Springfield but unknown if it is on the air or not yet.

I am assuming this station's power is low enough where it does not interfere with WLWC-28 in Providence. I would think even a low-power station in Springfield would be too close to Providence's Channel 28, but I could be wrong. Tex, any comments on that? Just wondering. Thanks.

When and if the station gets on the air, what programming would they have? Any plans in the works?

The tech exhibit given by WWLP says the allotment is clear of WLWC and WVER in Rutland. The FCC form does show a directional pattern that is very tight to the Springfield area.

When WLWC surrenders their analog signal in 2009, they will remain on 22 (Digital) anyways.
