From CBS 3 press release:
While CBS 3 and sister station The CW Philly will switch to their digital channels at 12:30 p.m. this Friday, CBS 3, as the official "Nightlight" station in the market, CBS will continue to broadcast its analog signal for 30 days airing instructional programming in English and Spanish for viewers who may not have made the transition to digital successfully.

Some of us have known all along. :D

BTW it doesn't help them by saying things like ...

"While CBS 3 and sister station The CW Philly will switch to their digital channels at 12:30 p.m. this Friday ..." ??? ::)

CBS 3 and CW 57 (was UPN 57) have been on 26 & 32 for years. I got my DTV tuner for the Olympics of 2004 and have been watching both since. What kind of switching will they be doing apart from switching 57 off now and 3 in a month? :p

And I thought Y2K was full of misinformation. ;)
