Channel 32 Testing...why so long ?

Channel 32 seems to have been testing for months and months in the NYC area...anyone know what's going on this station ? What so long ?

I heard that all of the LP stations owned by Chladek (26, 32, 35, others?) were being sold, but I guess there's been no takers. 26 was also showing bars but it's been static for at least a month now, while 35 seems to be showing "The New Yorkers" on a loop.

Interestingly enough, some other LPTV's have also been on and off as of late, such as 46 (which was rebroadcasting Daystar, then went back to a shot of the city and the audio from the NOAA, and now seems to be cycling through different things every day), and 42 (seems to have been off for a while as well).

As of right now (8:30pm 4/24)

Channel 26: Off the air
Channel 32: Simulcast of the ION network (unless it's WPXN bleeding in)
Channel 34: Spanish programming - Caribevision
Channel 35: Some show interviewing stamp collectors
Channel 42: Daystar
Channel 46: Religious programming

What's on 44 and 54? Does Chladek still own those? Gosh, I remember when they were the old "W44AI" and "W54AY". Remember "American Hot Video" hosted by that CSB graduate broad? The channels also showed the taboo Robin Byrd show.

I can remember some years ago, one owner of a LPTV around Channel 38 would run MuchMusic, which is Canada's version of MTV.

It may have been connected with Stevens Tech in Hoboken because I remember they'd also run Stevens Tech sporting events. The picture had all sorts of ghosts or echos in it, making me think Stevens Tech was experimenting with a different transmission system. It was clear they were doctoring the sporting events because Much Music came in clearly.
