Channel 46 now has less Better Mornings

With the return of the 4:30 start time for news on Atlanta's CBS 46 a change has been made in the mornings on the station. As i thought channel 46 has renamed the 4:30-7 portion of the morning program to CBS Atlanta News to match other newscasts. The 9-10 edition keeps the Better Morning's Atlanta name at least for now. When CBS 46 came back to the morning show business the show was full of fluff as an alternative but has evolved into a traditional morning news cast so i guess it was time to change the name. I still dont know why Brandon had to go for this change but talent dont want to stay at 46 and those that do stay get fired.

Now it's time to re-brand back to "CBS 46".

I like the CBS Atlanta brand better. Besides, they've gone back to the CBS 46 moniker twice that I can remember. It's time for new graphics and a new set. Call me crazy but they need more energy like WSVN in Miami!

And the Titanic deck-chair moving act continues:

The only two people who have survived the horrible station over the years will be anchoring together soon. Whoop whoop hoo-ray. Tracye Hudgins of BMA fame will slide into evenings alongside Stephanie Fisher; "replacing" Jacquitta Williams.

This means that three of the current 4 Better Mornings anchors are new: Annalee Penny (consumer/finance reporter), Stefan Chase (traffic anchor), and Hudgins' replacement Michelle Burdo (who starts on the 26th.)

New CBS Atlanta News Director Lane Michaelson tells Rodney Ho that two anchors will also be hired for BMA and evenings.

OMG really WGCL? I can't keep up with them anymore. I'm sorry but Stehpany Fisher is horrible. They treat her like the Monica Perason of Channel 2. How about move Paul to weekday mornings and Jennifer Valdez to weekends?
