CHANNEL 50'S NEW LOGO

Noticed this today, too. I guess it's the '90s again.

Still, not everything shows the new logo. I just saw a "Get Obsessed" promo that has the UPN Chicago branding, and the "Weekend Movie Station" animation still prominently features the UPN logo. It'll take them some time to get to everything, I imagine.

I like the colorized logo with the call letters and COL, but I can't warm up to the boring black and white version for the bug on the corner of the screen. Too bad the bug can't reflect the subtle background color-fade.

I find it amusing that after all their efforts to wipe out channel numbers from WFLD and WPWR, they do a 180. Will we see a return of FOX32? Probably not.

Re: CHANNEL 50'S OLD LOGO

Too bad they didn't italicize the numbers a bit to pay homage to the old logo.

JA.. It was just "Power 50" prior to that, too. (Side note.. Does anyone remember Power 60?)

I guess they save that for the TV broadcast. Anyone know what the TV station is airing? Evidently the websites don't need to show a legal ID<P ID="signature">______________
