Channel 55 in San antonio still broadcasting?

Is Channel 55 in San antonio still broadcasting something? I can still pick up the digital signal, but I can not receive nothing on my DTV receiver. Just wondering if it was broadcasting anything or they just left it on? It use to be KENS.

What was Channel 55? Even after the DTV conversion, there are quite a few analog TV channels still broadcasting to the galaxy. All of those shopping channels are still there. You should disconnect the STB and re-adjust the coat hanger. The TransGuide channel is still on. Some of those religious channels are still out there and there's one spanish language TV station simulcasting its DTV signal in analog. I remember sometime last year there was some looped goofy dating/swingers/chat show on one of the UHF channels, where text phone numbers were displayed, while some weird kind of music droned on and on. It all seemed pretty corny, especially since all of the 'actors' were female, slim, trim, young, beautiful, single, apparently financially successful, lonely, disease free and not smeared with the unpleasant realities of the visually offensive common herd. It sort of reminded me of that soft porn community access cable channel show in the early 90s, "The Neil Sadowsky Lingerie Show", which featured some sort of weird music along with a slideshow of almost naked women. Some photos even had those "classic" black bars over the eyes and assorted anatomical landmarks. It was sometimes quite mesmerizing at 4 in the morning after going 12 rounds with Comrade Stolychnya.

Channel 55 was broadcasting KENS Channel 5 CBS, now Channel 5 moved over to Channel 39 after the DTV change over
