Channel 6 WPVI News Now 1 Hour at 11PM weekends

Maybe CBS3. NBC10 can't with SNL on Saturdays, and Sundays sports final is really an extension of the newscast anyway.

It's a pretty small pack--2 stations.

But come fall, will Sunday night just end up being a more standard 35 minute newscast with the Eagles stuff tosed in? Or would they really delay that piece to midnight?

Both 3 and 10 have sports wrap up shows on Sunday nights year-round, which basically means they're doing it already as a practical matter.

Other Philadelphia stations expanding the late Saturday night news? Probably not... It's not as heated a fight for viewers as 4 AM in the morning. :-\

Now, other ABC O&O's expanding their Saturday night late news, I could see happening if WPVI's expanded version takes off...

There's a few already doing so. WPVI is actually late to that game.
