Channel 61 on 6?

OK Boys and Girls:

Why am I receiving spanish language MTV programming on Channel 6 on my TV's. It is on everyone of them whether their hooked to the satellite (DirecTV) or on rabbit ears.

I live in Downers Grove. It's the same programming that is on 61 but far stronger.

WLFM-LP has apparently implemented their permit to move from channel 55. The station is theoretically licensed to Rochelle but their authorized site is on the Hancock Center. (same site as channel 61) 3kw (maximum permissible) on channel 6.
 
Baeed on that scenerio, an LP could broadcast on Channel 4 and cover the market, interfence free (for a little over a year.)

Well, guess what...that's about to happen. WOCK-LP 13 was going to put a digital signal on 12...got booted when WBBM-DT announced it was going there...applied for channel 6, but it was taken forst by these guys...and now WOCK-LD has applied for channel 4, at 300 watts. So all the VCR's that get interference on 3 from WBBM may be out of luck if they get approved by the FCC to transmit on channel 4.
 
I live on the NW side of Chicago in a heavily Latino neighborhood and I can barely get the station. Of course I just have rabbit ears, but I can get low powers 23, 41 and 48 well. And I can get 34 sometimes.
