Channel 8 Alumi

It appears that former WROC anchor/reporter Melissa Long is now anchoring CNN Headline News on the weekends; and she isn’t doing that bad of a job.

Long joins a list of former Channel 8 personnel that have gone on to bigger and better things.

Jacquie Walker went to Buffalo and is doing very well at WIVB TV as is meteorologist Mary Beth Wrobel. Linda Allen returned to her hometown and is working for WRTV.

Christine Crafts left for a teaching job at SUNY Brockport, and Rob Haswell is working at another TV station in the Midwest.

Wyatt Doremus is still at WXXI TV as a producer.

This list of former Channel 8 employees is so big that I’ve forgotten most of the people who once worked there.

She looks better than she did on Channel 8. She's normally on Headline News during the weekends. Check her out for yourself. And don't drool when you see her. :)

She looks SENSATIONAL, IMHO.
Not that she wasn't attractive before,..but it's obvious what a professional makeup artist and the bright (read: proper) lights of the big leagues can do to enhance someone's looks even more.
She also seems, "brighter" on the air at CNN,..I suspect it has something to do with her being a lot happier there, than at her last place of emplyment.

Good for her.

If you do a search (in the upper right hand corner) for her name, Melissa Long, it brought up a story called "her story". She looks great... Better than in the early AM like here... Although that wasn't bad at all either...
