....as a fill-in. Just to free up Scott Hetsko, John Stehlin, and Jonathan Myers. It seems like Jonathan Myers have to cover Hetsko's and Stehlin's shift when they are out. He might need a break once in a while. One time I saw him work the 11pm Sunday night shift and then did the early morning shift the next morning. He must have only had 2 hours of sleep. A 4th weather person could give him a break. Channels 10 and 13 have a 4th fill-in guy. Chris Gloninger on 10 (he looks real young) and Mark McClean on 13. I noticed Josh Nichols have been getting some weekends off since Chris Gloninger came aboard. Not only Channel 8 needs a 4th weather person, they need more reporters.

You're talking about a company that is so cheap they have their main anchors switch off each week to perform field reporting duty because they can't or won't hire replacements for the people that were fired.

So don't expect them to hire another meterologist.

4th meterologist would mean they have to pay someone money. Knowing them they will put a sports reporter in to do the weather if they need to lol. They dont like to hire lol.

I know Channel 8 is cheap. But I thought since they merged with Fox, they would be better in on-air talent and everything. But they have gotten worse and lost more talent than they've gained. If they weren't a network affiliate, they would probably fold.
