A business associate of mine informed me that WROC TV recently let some employees go .Has anyone else heard this and if its true what's going on? Don't tell me Nexstar is trying to save more more money by getting rid of people?

Just wanted to clear one thing up! Your friend's daughter was FIRED due to massive incompetence, which resulted in the loss of substantial revenue more than once. You have to be pretty clueless to screw up an automated master control system. She was replaced within a week, so I don't think her removal was in any way related to "downsizing!".
I was just informed by a current co-worker that her daughter was let go; no reason was given as to why and I didn't ask.tweedsmoker said:Just wanted to clear one thing up! As for downsizing, I never used that word. But the quote from my friend who works at 8 is correct because that person said it during a phone conversation and believe me this person is not incompetent nor lazy and has been with the station for many years.
