Channel 877?

I thought this station was getting a new format. I turned them on yesterday and it sounded pretty much the same as before the holidays; a mix of progressive and adult alternative. What's the deal?

you are correct, it's the SAME thing. is the owners 16 year old son is programming this? in order for them to pull this off as "Radio", from what i've read this is "legally" supposed to be a TV station. are they broadcasting TV video on channel 6 in Lubbock(that no one has the means to see now).

Actually most HDTVs that have a digital tuner still have an analog one, too. Bigger cities have many analog LPTVs still in operation. And many digital converter boxes allow for pass-thru of the analog signal. So the technology to watch analog broadcast TV is still in many homes.

Yup.
But that still doesn't answer the question: What happened to the "new format" that was going to happen?

I guess it's okay to say somthing is "coming soon" when in fact, you have no idea when or "if" it will come at all...
(Like Office Depot is "coming soon" to Canyon West, and has been, pretty much for 6 years and counting...)

That's why I propose a ban on the phrase "coming soon."
