Not a very promising trend for KQCH today. 4 book trend too: 5.7 5.3 4.9 4.6
What are they or aren't they doing? I noticed close HOT AC competitor Q98's in the same boat. Looks like the rhythmic competitor is grabbing all the listeners. What's up?!

Channel use to be a Rhythmic,,,, maybe they need to lean back that way, and Q can be a bit hotter as well.

Omaha had an interesting recent history.  Journal owns Channel 94.1 (CHR) and Star 104.5 (Hot AC).
NRG Media owns KQKQ Q98.5 (Modern AC) and KOPW Power 106.9 (Rhythmic CHR), which was Hot 97.3/107.7.

KQKQ was a heritage CHR "Sweet 98" before being taken out of the game by Rhythmic CHR Channel 97.7.  Channel has since moved to 94.1 and has co-opted the mainstream CHR format for itself, as it took down the 22-year heritage of Sweet 98.

On the topic of Omaha, I'd like to see the alternative format return there some day, though there is noncommerical 89.7 The River.
