Can channel-sharing agreements be amended or dissolved (i.e. can a station opt to end its CSA with one partner and start a new one with another)?
I ask because here in L.A., Me-TV O&O KAZA-TV (which used to transmit on its own full-powered digital channel, UHF 47) is piggybacking on a Class A (KHTV-CD, UHF 27, to move to 22), which is almost impossible to receive over the air in my part of the city. (I guess that’s why full-powered KDOC continues to carry Me-TV on its 56.3 subchannel.) Would KAZA be allowed to file with the FCC to end its current CSA with KHTV-CD and see if other full-powered stations with enough bandwidth would be open to negotiating a new CSA?
