Last month, we FINALLY (!!) cut the cord, after my wife realized how much was being spent vs. stuff worth watching - and after convincing her how much better Netflix and Hulu would be. I seized the moment and cut. One of the best decisions I ever made.

The missus is quite happy getting her favorite shows online. I have a feeling we'll more than watch our $9.95 worth of Netflix each month. ;D

I'm glad to read your positive review about both of Netflix and Hulu. I'm building a home theater PC this weekend with the intent of using it for those two services. We ditched cable a few months ago and kept only local channels. I have a feeling that Netflix and Hulu will be a great supplement.

ATSC:
KGW's "weather subchannel" (when they actually manage to run weather reports)
KOPB (usually for News Hour)

DVBS:
Al Jazeera
This TV (sometimes; quality's better than you'd get from KATU)
Muzak (when/if I can get it!)
Network feeds, particularly the NBC feeds on AMC 1 & 9, and those of CNN wherever they show up
NASA channels & feeds

See, this is the time of the year when the monsoons let up, thus the C-band transponders actually manage to come in clearly despite my woefully inadequate 3' dish.

Well, in reality I maybe only watch about 1/2 hour of television a day or so, if that.

KDKA, news, some of the nighttime fare.
WTAE, news, not as much of the nighttime fare.
WTAE 4.2, some of the This TV movies and early morning reruns.

WPXI 11.2, waiting to see how ME TV replaces Retro.

WPCB, some of the religious fare.
WPCB 40.2, actually, perhaps more of the fare on Bible Discovery Network.
