Chapman's last song

And Jody's first

Leader of the Band (and he gave to me his gift of song, I never can repay)

Thank you Ron

Ron will be missed, but it was sure great to hear someone on the radio who was able to say good bye.

Think all the times you have tuned in to hear a program you had regularly listened to and they were not there and no one was saying where they went.

AMEN!! That is the way radio should be, and now it has officially passed. WE regretably will never hear the likes of it again.

Great choices on both parts...couldn't have done it better myself.

Just might have to pull those up on Real Rhapsody real quick.

I kinda thought Jody's first was Chicago's Beginnings. Seemed like Turn, Turn,Turn and Leader of the Band were a package deal. Still a cool way to go out.

Yep.

Maybe we'll be lucky enough to see him post here on radio-info from time to time.

If you watch the story on WFAA.com you can hear it playing in the background during the live stand-up...
