CHAPPAQUIDICK v. SUPREME COURT CHOICE

Just believe that Carr is showing signs or repetitive behaviour which is an early indication of dementia. It may be simply a sign that Howie Carr is old.
Time for some new young blood at WRKO in the afternoon. Carr's show is like watching summer reruns on television. No wonder his ratings are sinking far below Jay Severin. Severin is annoying and bizarre but at least he is on top of breaking issues and has thought provoking analysis of issues. Carr is just a repetitive "boar".

Do you have evidence of this? Or are you just making things up to fuel your obsession?

Just ther other day, Franken called the Bush administration's elusive language
adjustments regarding Karl Rove "Clintonesque" (as in the wiggly way Clinton danced around the truth in the Lewinsky hearings) which I thought was very fair of Franken and something--if the position was reversed--I would never hear Hannity or Rush say regarding a Republican president.

I think that episodes in the political arena are generally fair game, but to drag up episodes in the personal life of someone nearly 40 years after the fact is unnecessary.

NeoCons always bring up Robert Byrd's association with the (BLEEP), even though he renounced his past years ago. Yet when someone brings up Bush's drinking or arrest for Coke use, they say "oh, the guy reformed. That's in the past". When Libs bring up dirty political tricks, it is always Nixon Nixon Nixon, like there have never been Democrats who played dirty political tricks before.

Commercial talk radio is a joke. I get absolutley no balance. Last night, Hannity talked about John Roberts as if he were a saint from heaven...the greatest choice....a flawless human being. Air America talked about him as if he were the devil incarnate, and would single-handedly destroy the country's freedoms. I wish the world was that simple!

Both sides simply throw red meat around for their "yup yup yup, you are right" lemming callers, to promote their books, and to sell premium subscriptions to the their websites and newsletters. It has nothing whatsoever to do with actual political discussion.

What a f**ing joke.

It may be old news, but it's the type of news that will always be there. Sort of like Jane Fonda's ill-advised trip to Hanoi.
BUT.....Doesn't this thread really belong somewhere else??
