Chapter 11

...could almost kiss you for that lil bit o news ..but ... then again.. naw
anyway... this was predictable when they paid that rediculous (close to) $100mil
"Blame it on Obama" lol Yii Haw!!!

I told them they should have kept JACK-FM, The largest playlist of any other Fresno Station, but they wouldn't listen, even though KMJ-FM inproved a little in recent ratings, they are NOT like they were when they were JACK-FM or KKDJ.

Is that what Peak paid CBS for the Fresno cluster? Wow!!!

Well, it didn't help that KMJ AM was turned from a good power house into a 50 KW -- 200 mph Amtrak train going no where. A 4 tower -- directional -- pointed right toward Salnas - Monterey. KMJ has more listeners in Monterey County than they have in Fresno.

You've gotta be kidding. What the hell are you talkin about? Yes, they are 50kw directional, right up Fresno's arse. Monterey has much better choices on their dial than KMJ. Pretty much anywhere in Calif., or the West coast for that matter, has better choices than to listen to KMJ.

Peak doesn't want to pay their bills. javascript:void(0); Waaaaah waaaah please Mr bankruptcy judge don't make us take a pay cut. hypocritical hypocritical hypocritical

So if this bankruptcy goes the way Pappas Broadcasting did, and the cluster was sold off, who would be interested in it, Cumulus?, Entercom?, Mapleton?, Buckley?, or could the cluster be split up between Lotus and Wilks?
Being in Bankruptcy the price will be far less than the original 90 Mil.

I'd rather listen to KFI

At Least KMJ Sounds Better Than KWSX-1280 Stockton. Actually Even Static Sounds Better Than KWSX!!! :D

This is reorganization, right? I don't think they have to sell.

It's resume polishing time on Shaw Avenue.

That's what I'm thinking to, Just like CC Fresno, well, CC in general, more local talent cuts, more satellite delivered formats, and of course I'm talking about the music stations, in addition, a total simulcast of KMJ-AM on KMJ-FM.

I wonder if KMJ will change call letters

I believe you are right. I think it is Chapter 7 that you have to liquidate your assets. Chapter 11 is reorganization. I think Pappas went through Chapter 7 Bankruptcy?
