charity wanting too much

have you ever worked with a local charity that wanted too much, and kept calling and driving you nuts. I take very seriously working with the community and try to make myself available but my goodness, they won't leave me alone. I've been asked to not only promote the event, but to plan the event, and not even work the event....I guess one way to look at it, the event is this weekend and then done.

Didn't you get the memo? Taking a broadcasting job is like signing up for the mob.

For example, the station have a permanent seat on the July 4th committee.

Thanks for the support. The event went off without a hitch this last weekend, and the Chairty was very thankful for our support and the time I put in. It made me feel good to help out, it's good to help a charity. It's about being local. And I have to remind myself of that fact...everytime this comes up. XM and Sirius can't do it. We can.

I've been working with charities for a few years and have never run into a big problem. They are always wanting more and more. But, that is how they operate. But, you have to remember its for a good cause.
