Charlamagne Renews with iHeart

Glad to see Power 105's Charlamagne sign on for another 5 years at Power 105. Company also given him a majority stake in podcast arm with the corporation. We wrote about it this week on Radio Facts. Joe Budden attacked Charlamagne for not being an entrepreneur and giving too much of his profit to iHeart.
 
The business of talent in radio is changing. If you are a content creator, you should be involved in more than just on-air. The question is how dependent are you on the company's resources and platform in creating that content? That's the issue here.
