Charles Van Zandt's last day at WLW

..occurred Friday night. He's been the overnight anchor at the Big One for 10 years, maybe more. He'll be going to CC sister station WKRC-12 for behind the scenes work..and better hours.<P ID="signature">______________

I'll miss him. He was my companion on those late nights I spent doing homework.

Mad Props to Van Zandt. One of God's beautiful creatures.

Worked with him. All the good stories are true. All the funny stories are true. Any bad stories are a crock. To paraphrase Hank Williams Junior, Anybody here don't like Charles Van Sant, you can kiss my a**!

Worked with Charlie in Columbus Indiana in the 70's. What a Class Act! He didn't start work at The Big One until after I left in teh early 80's. What a super person!

Charlie is the greatest. Always prompt and professional. He will be greatly missed.
