Live after 6 or recorded? I pass thru Oxford at 6ish from time to time to catch 95 and swear I've seen him leaving the parking lot around 6 only to hear him ranting later.

The HJJ show was on Saturday nights. Charles, Paul, and Al are nearly all that remain of great, personality-driven local radio. I hope they are kept around for many years to come. All three, I might add, are RI Radio Hall of Famers.
I remember during one of those times when Charles was in-between gigs at HJY, that he actually lowered himself to do a show on the infamous Battaglia-era 990-WALE. It was a morning wake-up show with elements of talk radio thrown in. It was known as "The Morning Pig Show". The time frame was sometime around 1992.
His sidekick for most of that time was a young college kid named Tucker Carlson. Who would have ever dreamed that the same kid all these years later would turn out to become a prominent commentator and political "talking head", of the type we see a lot of on cable news.
As for Charles....I'm glad we still have him around...at least for as long as CC will allow it.
