Today, between 9:05 am and 9:25am, I picked up several stations from out of market that came through with strong clarity. These stations were heard from downtown Charleston, SC.
92.7- KSJQ, Savannah, MO, heard over the noise, "St. Joseph's Q93 Country." About 960 miles or so.
97.7- Unidentified, Illinois-Missouri traffic report coming through the static.
101.1- Two unidentified stations. One had a fast talking French speaker, and was likely from Canada. The other had an ad from Columbus Community Hospital, and I thought I heard someone say Albia in the middle of the ad, serving the farmers. The station was called "Clear 101."
101.5- KPLA Columbia, MO, local ad, then slogan-ID, "Chris and Monica in the Morning." About 813 miles.
There were also several stations that were in between the static, and would have been in if we didn't go toward Mt. Pleasant.
