Charleston has 3 Urban gospel stations (106.3FM, 1390AM, 1480AM). 1480 calls themselves contemporary Christian., but all the music sounds the same. Who has the most listeners?
 
I'd probaly have to say GOSPEL 106.3/WJNI since they have a clear FM signal. Most people like myself never scans the AM dial so having the format on a FM signal could be a big gainer on the AM competition. However, I've seen ratings where HEAVEN 1390AM/WXTC has beaten them.
 
Contemporary Christian station 1480 in Charleston format has changed to Spanish. It sounds like classic latin--not upbeat like WAZS.
