How's the 3 way country battle going? I imagine when Cumulus takes over 96.9 it will be run on a lower budget....that may help 95.9.

Does 95SX have a night jock anymore? The last one's at 101.9 Now in Memphis. I don't see anything on their website after 7PM. Cumulus usually runs syndication after 7pm (Billy Bush) on their CHR's, same for mornings on some stations. Maybe Citadel isn't bothering to hire anybody for nights.
 
The country music battle is not going as well as hoped. The new 95.9 took about two points off of WEZL, but the Wolf stayed about the same. 95.9 does advertise a lot, since they have the marketing machine of Channel 5 behind them, and they just finished up a major contest giving away tickets to the Country Music Awards.

WSSX is a shadow of what it used to be. Until a few months ago, they had a local guy in that night slot. During football season, they even would take calls from high school football games in order for fans to get updates.
 
Sounds like the 96.9 audience is more loyal than the WEZL audience. Still think they should have kept classic hits on 95.9.

Seems like 95SX could spare the $$ for a night jock, heck, they have syndication middays! Citadel may not be hiring because of its upcoming merger with Cumulus...why hire then fire several months later (well, 95.9 did...). I never thought I'd say something like this...but Jiggy is much better off with Clear Channel now! Last I heard I didn't care for 2G&AG....better than B93.7's Hawk and Tom, though. Joe in the afternoons is good at SX, came from B.
 
I think 95.9 will fail. Leaving it back to 96.9 vs. 103.5

All this talk about 95sx their the only game in town for CHR. The station sounds good other then middays. Their morning show Two Girls and a Guy was ranked best morning show in some newspaper I saw somewhere.

Regarding morning shows whats the one on 96.9 The Wolf called these days?
