Anybody know anything about LM Communications?

Yeah, LM stands for Lynn Martin, the guy that owns the company. He did--maybe still does--own some stations over in Lexington, KY, too. Been in Charleston a long time. Met him about 10 or 15 years ago, but don't know him or his reputation as an operator. Maybe somebody else can help...

I worked for LM many many years ago. If you wanna work for a tight a$$ that doesn't care for anyone except his wallet, then have fun. More work for less money, thats his way of thinking. Enjoy!!

LM (I think) owns two stations here in Charleston, SC as well. The websites are fairly poor in design and outdated, which makes me think very little time and money goes into the site development. One of the stations LM owns is a AAA station that has been tanking in recent months the other is an active rock station that usually beats its competition 12+. Both are VT'd a lot as well.

I'm never one to talk bad about a company I've never worked for. But based on all this, you will have a lot of financial constraints if you worked with them and the pay will probably not be crazy good. Kinda like working for a small-town owner in a big market!

LOL!!! He's somethin'. As it's my first post here I'm not going to say what.

I worked for LM briefly many moons ago. I remember Lynn courting a certain air talent for morning drive for X dollars. The guy shot him down, and the position stayed unfilled for a few months. So Lynn went back to the guy and offered him the job again...FOR LESS MONEY...

WTF?
