Charlie Austin In The Picture ???

Watching CBS 4 News at 6 on Wednesday they did a short piece on a Wedneday's Child Award Jack Williams received.

In the still picture with Jack and to his left appeared to be Charlie Austin.

At last reports, Charlie was home from a rehabilitation hospital after suffering a major stroke and other illnesses.

If that was - and I hope it was - Charlie Austin he looked like the old Charlie Austin.

Did anyone else see the piece?
 
I didn't see the piece in question, but I wouldn't be surprised, given all the years Jack Williams and Charlie Austin worked together at WBZ-4.

There were no doubt many times over the years when Williams would open a 6 or 11 P.M. newscast, read the lead story, then introduce Charlie Austin with the Instant Eye for a live report from the scene of the top story, with Austin closing countless live shots by saying "Back to you, Jack and Liz...".
