Charlie Brown and the first 'VoxPro' - 1995

Heh - Ich had that hairstyle even during the KNBQ-Tacoma daze
:)

What's interesting here is that the Voxpro began on only an APPLE computer
and not sure if it evolved - before or shortly after - the birth of the internet...

..there's no fine 'timeline' noted here - as I believe this all actually began sometime in 1994

The internet had nothing to do with the "evolution" of the VoxPro - other than creating an avenue to market the product. It was on a Mac originally because only the Mac had the multimedia capabilities that VoxPro needed. By 2001 multimedia capabilities in Windows finally caught up to the point where VoxPro was migrated to a PC platform.

And IIRC Jay Kelly's arrival at KJR-FM marked the end of Charlie's voiceover work for the station - a dumb move IMO.

I remember the 1st time I walked into a station with a Vox-Pro on an Apple.

It was like when Dylan went electric!

I was sooo amazed then, and now the new PC Vox-Pro can do it all.

Makes me think back to the days of reel to reel. Ahhh...the flexibility of using a razor blade to cut tape, do drugs or finally end it all because of a bad book!
