charlie burger is on cbs fm right now!

:) I am so happy and surprised this morning!!! Yes Charlie is Great, I known him many years. We worked on St Jude charities together. Charlie, your Awesome, love ya Hope to hear you more!!! :)

Hopefully Charlie Burger gets a regular show on CBSFM.

Plus he was on KTU on overnites 2am-6am for a long time until the station went in a different direction and let him, Broadway bill lee and Joe causi go.

For the record, Charlie has worked at Kiss-FM (when it was Hot AC and in its current Urban AC format), WNEW-FM (when it was Rhythmic AC), 103.5 WYNY (Country) and WKTU (Dance). There are probably other stations I'm missing.

He's always a gentleman and a pro!

Charlie was the only one not fired from 103.5 when country left, He did over nights, but I was not up plus I was so mad losing my friends over there, Never was mad at Charlie, Happy for him!!!
Charlie has always been a sweet wonderful friend, and wishing him well, whatever he decides to do. He can do any kind of music :)

Oldiesmike mentions Charlie Burger did overnights on WKTU until ke, Bill Lee and Joe Causi were given the boot.

Note that the latter two are now with CBS-FM on a regular basis, with Causi on selected overnights, albeit voicetracked. Maybe there's room for Burger on the overnights, too.

Charlie was gracious enough to work weekends for me when I was PD of WKJY, and as Gregg said, he was always a gentleman and a pro. Glad he's on at CBS-FM!

In this business, Charlie is a rare combination of massive talent and sincere humility.

[Looks like the Saturday afternoon shift is Charlie's for now. Their has been no regular jock since Rick Stacy left (although Dave Packer and Ron Parker have pulled many of these shifts). Charlie sounds great. I suspect we'll be hearing a lot of him during the holiday season (along with Big Jay or Zach Martin)
