Just days after Boston Sunday Globe Magazine writer Charlie Pierce quoted previous ratings for WTKKK-FM 969, that station's ratings zoomed more than a full point 12 plus. (WRKO-AM slid somewhat.) It's 5:09 pm Tuesday...even now, Brian Maloney is perusing the numbers and will use them to pummel AM 680.

the blogger is just a radio nerd with a keyboard. look at 25-54's. wtkk had 100% increase in one book thanks the lazy howie, the cyclope and rush all tanking. tai nailed it. goodbye and goodnight, howie.
 
How would Howie have done in a.m. drive vs. the Felon had the contract allowed him to go to TKK?...
(of course he'd have to face D&C, Matty, Loren & Wally, etc....)

Pretty impressive for Graham and E&B!

I think there was only one 7 pm pre-season game...and the opening series games (Japan,
also more exhibition games in LA)
started at 6 am and 11 pm, so...it's basically Savage. Beats McPhee....

the shadow from cyclope's dome could probably beat howie head to head....

I agree that Howie is just getting lazy. Where I would never turn the dial before, I now find myself switching to 'TKK, and "forgetting" to switch back to Howie. The only thing I try to never miss is Howie's daily visit from the Mayor just after the 6pm news. There's almost always a belly laugh out of that segment. Other than that, the show is turning into a yawner.
