Longtime New Orleans/MS Gulf Coast radio/TV newsman/sales rep Charlie Ray has passed at the age of 79 this past week.

Had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Ray a couple of years ago at a shared remote in Gulfport at an auto dealership 105.9 did with Coast Radio where he worked, we had a wonderful time sharing old New Orleans radio memories. He was truly a gentleman, condolences to family and friends...
