But the most interesting of the two calls has to be the first one, as he was first prompted to call Wired after the station flew a banner over his home asking to call the station.

He then told Wired to their face that they're like "Vatican assassins."

Well, you know what they say... you can't spell "assassins" without... never mind...

If Charlie was going to call any station it would be "Wired" as I don't think there's a station called "COKED UP!" :D

And thanks to partying with one 7 gram at a time he'll be wired for some time. ;)

It's a brilliant stunt. Wired 96.5 was the center of attention this morning. It should lead to a ratings boost. I'm sure that their Internet listening must have increased a lot this morning when people all over the country tuned in hoping to hear the phone call live.

We really must have our priorities backwards. World has a civil war, massive unemployment, ballooning deficits, and closer to home and your wallet, gas closing in on (and probably exceeding in a week) $4. Yet the only thing anyone cares about the last two weeks is the insignificant incoherent ramblings of a moron.

Wonder how many people will be smiling and WINNING with their $80 fill ups. Billie Joe was right - American Idiots.

His behavior is that of one who is in a drug induced, artificially euphoric state, regardless of what his urine and bloodwork seem to indicate, or who might have gone in his place.
