Charlie Sheen Returning To "Two And A Half Men"

The actor has renewed his contract to continue his role on the show for another two seasons. Which means the show will not be revamped and renamed "One and a Half Men," as previously feared here.

It never would have come back as One and a Half Men - they would have just canceled it. Not that Sheen is so invaluable or anything - but because the concept works due to the interplay and contrast between the ultimate ladies' man male-slut and his hopelessly inept and dependent brother. The kid and the nasty maid are just there as sounding boards to serve the concept.

No Charlie, no show.

I don't know if America could have withstood the major blow that a lack of fart and dick jokes provided with a Two and a Half Men cancellation.

Oh, I don't know. It sounds like it would have opened up an opportunity for Howard Stern to develop his first prime-time sitcom.

I guess that the possibility of the show becoming "Three Men" is coming once Jake graduates from high school or is it probably gone as "Two And A Half Men" after the 2011-2012 season?

Technically, he actually had such a show: It was called "Son Of The Beach" starring Timothy Stack (also from "Night Stand with Dick Dietrick") and it ran on FX in the late 90's.

And it wasn't really a bad show. I watched several episodes. Could have been better but there certainly has been worse crap on the air.
Wonder what happened to the reruns?
