I don't like the idea that "Old School" changed but it seems to be working for them. Smaller AM stations are, however, playing a lot of the same music.

I wonder why hip-hop is doing so poorly these days after it was almost on top?
 
I like how a year ago Old School 105.3 became 105.3 RNB and the changes they made to the playlist. I personally think that hip-hop is not doing so well in this market since people are tried of Power 98 in the areas where they can't pickup 92.7 The Block or Streetz 103.3/100.5. I think if Urban One would consider putting "The Block" on 105.3 then "The Block" would maybe perform better in the ratings, since 92.7 is on more of a directional signal.
