Or, https://radioinsight.com/ratings/charlotte/ with 6 month trending, formats and owners.

If you look there, you see that WBT is not down... they are at the June, July and August level after abnormally high numbers in September and October. Remember, time buyers look at rolling averages, often 6 month's worth of data or more.

WPEG is back at number one, where it used to be all the time. I wonder what happened?

WKQC is lucky they're about to have their biggest month of the year.

WKQC seems to go in a cycle with their lowest numbers just before the Christmas bump. Then they gradually shed ratings through the year (repeat).

4.7 to 3.9 is down.
Spin it however you want, the station is a dumpster fire and a shell of its former self.

The fact WBT is about to get passed by an NPR station is glorious.

Go Fox, go broke.
WBT is a long way from going broke. WBT is one of if not the top billing station in the market. These 6+ published numbers mean almost nothing. I am sure WBT does much better 25-54 males than WFAE which is where the real audience is. Advertising buyers.

Like it or not WBT is stuck where it is. Any adjustment will likely just make the ratings go even lower. They have their label for better or worse and will likely ride that to the end. Don't expect any dramatic changes regardless of who owns WBT. The strong local news image is WBT's greatest asset. They need to do all they possibly can to protect that.
