Charter original shows?

Charter have teamed up with AMC to co-produce original shows which will premiere on the Spectrum platform first in 2018. Will this be on demand or on a streaming channel that Spectrum debuts these originals? Or could it be on a 'Spectrum Exclusive' linear channel like Directv has Audience? A piece by Fierce Cable reads 'Charter is launching commercial free network'. Am I just reading it wrong or how are they going to show this original content to their subscribers? Just VOD content://com.sec.android.app.sbrowser/readinglist/0108000253.mhtml

Charter have acquired LA's Finest from Sony and it will be exclusive for Charter subscribers and then will be released on other platforms.
President of Sony Pictures Television says 'Immediately we knew this innovative new platform was absolutely the right home for ‘L.A.’s Finest'. Does this mean LA's Finest won't be able to be seen by Charter's 14.6 million video subscribers? Are Charter developing a new TV app or what does he mean by 'innovative new platform'? If so it lessens again the amount of subscribers who will be able to see it.

Charter are to release their 3 episodes of their original series LA'S Finest on demand May 13th with remaining episodes released weekly on Monday.
I know everything is going on demand nowadays but not providing a traditional linear broadcast will affect the amount of subscribers able to see the show? I presume as it's released on demand subscribers will require a sufficient Internet connection which a lot of subscribers won't have. After all they are trying to entice their 'cable' subscribers to stay with them by giving them original shows. Directv have the right idea where they release original series on demand but also provide a linear channel for all subscribers to be able to view their shows.
Also isn't Sky's new show Curfew also a co-producing with Charter?
