Sorry to say, actually I am not sorry to say, WMAX
is not close to Jack. It is in for a tough road. Max uses
on-air talent and they have the worst signal in Chattanooga. in
fact, as much as people seem to complain about the Jack liners,
it is 1000 times better than listening to bored announcers tell
unexciting stories about unexceptional songs from the past on Max.
At least Jack's edge keeps you trying it again and again.
The single biggest programming mistake out there today is/are Jack
wannabees. And, on behalf of Jack, can anyone name a moniker
with as much recognition as "Jack?" The entire nation is talking
about it with still very little time OTA.
Someone in Chattanooga should take a chance on an updated,
fresh Oldies now that GT-108 have been flipped to Country.
I updated this to go along with Lou's comment below.
Edited by tibbs on 08/01/05 02:52 PM.
