Soft Rock 106.7?
I doubt it.
San Antonio already has KQXT and KSMG, and Cox owns KSMG. Though possible since KAMX and KKMJ in Austin are owned by Entercom and they are two ACs one Hot AC and one Soft AC.
KMIX is back in the Alamo City KMIX 106.7- They could do that.
Q101.9 is feeling more like at HOT AC station esp. at night but with mostly 90s and 70s in rotation, they must like skipping the 80s, probally to get at KONO and KSMGs ratings.
They need to break the mold and flip to Urban AC (revive KSJL) on that frequency. Though I miss their dance format (JAMZ). Cox needs to look at KSJLs success during the 90s when KTFM in a way tried to copy both KSJL and KQXT (1994-1997)

KTFM tried to copy KQXT back in the 90s???? Sorry but I never heard Christopher Cross or Kenny Loggins on KTFM back then. KTFM and KSJL were on a whole different level; KTFM was more dance and pop, KSJL was pure urban.
Cox needs to try the urban format as there is none to serve the large Africian American community with NO urban to serve them. And no, KTFM or KBBT are not urban.

That is because Christopher Cross and Kenny Loggins were big in the 1980s. They both played Art Of Noise (KQXT and KTFM) KTFM had slow jams in heavy rotation during KSJLs FM beginning. Both played R Kelly a lot (KSJL and KTFM)
