I remember there was a triple murder in the Yosemite area a few years back. A mother and her two teenage daughters were raped and killed. KFI in LA sent a reporter to cover the story. (I forgot her name?, Ingram? she went to NYC station?) Law enforcement said they captured the murderers, saying they were part of a "meth" ring. The cops were wrong and they didn't have the killer, he was actually a handyman at the motel the reporter was staying at. He stalked the KFI reporter as she used the hot tub at the motel one evening. While, the reporter was not harmed, the killer went on to kill another women, a park worker who was beheaded. That is getting close to a story.
So will the "real news station" go out and get "Chester." Just like those newspaper reporters in the 1930's movies. I'd help, but I've got to go watch a Perry Mason rerun. May the best station win.
