Chevy man

I was looking around for info about Cullman's FM stations, or even better yet,
LPFM.

I, of course, know Mr. Ron Mosley rather well, and know all about 92.1, WKUL.

What I was surprised to learn is Cullman has another FM station - although it's not really here. It's licensed to addision, and it used to be kinda corny. Now it's just country.

It's located in the north western side of the county, basically on top of the battleground community - and it's on 103 foot tower according to the FCC.

More research....it's owned by Alvin Abercrombie. Ok...that tells me nothing, so off to Google again.....and I find out Alvin Abercrombie owns the Chevy dealership not in Cullman.....not in Addision.....but in Hartselle!

Wow!

(ok, so i was kinda bored).

Find out more on this elderly gentleman who is still kicking butt....

Alvin Abercrombie

This guy is about to remind me of Cullman's Roy Drinkard.

So.....any ideas how much he'd sell the country station for?
Or should I just stick with the whole concept of LPFM? :)

What, if any, business does this car dealer have in radio? :)

If WQAH-105.7 is for sale at all, it's probably out of anyone's price range around here. It shows up pretty decently in the Huntsville ratings and has a considerably better signal than some other stations (92.5/94.1 in particular). And with a car salesman as owner, I'm betting it bills pretty good also.

I'd prepare to part with at least a million big ones. But if he hasn't sold to CC or Cumulus already, he probably won't sell to you either.
